Dr Munu Mahat is a dedicated Consultant Neonatologist and Pediatrician currently serving at Kanti Children’s hospital, one of Nepal’s leading pediatric care institutions. With a strong academic background and specialized training, she has established herself as a committed expert in neonatal and child health.
Dr Mahat completed her medical degree at Kathmandu medical college and earned her master’s degree in Pediatrics from Kathmandu University. She further specialized in neonatology through a fellowship at National Academy of Medical Sciences, where she deepened her expertise in managing critically ill and premature newborns.
Known for her compassionate care and clinical precision, Dr Mahat plays a vital role in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Kanti Hospital, focusing on improving outcomes for vulnerable newborns. She is also actively involved in mentoring medical trainees and contributing to the advancement of pediatric and neonatal care in Nepal.
