Dr. Giri is an experienced Specialist in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology/ Diabetology with an initial degree in pure science, B Sc. Joint Honours Biochemistry and Physiology followed by a PhD in Medical Science which allows her to have a very broad vision of Medicine and her dream to set up a state of art, quality care and patient centric hospital.

Her qualifications are from King’s College, London, University of London and University of Ghent, Belgium, where she remained as an Academic Clinician until her return to Nepal in 2013. At the University of Ghent, she held the position of Lecturer in Masters of Nutrition and Medicine, hence with a vast experience in Under Graduation teaching and training.

On her return to Nepal in 2013, she worked briefly in large institutions like Grande Hospital, Dhapasi, Green City Hospital, Jamal and Nepal Mediciti Hospital, Nakkhu until she decided to set up a multidisciplinary specialized hospital called Helios in 2020. 

Her vision is to combine a diagnostic centre with expert service-oriented care for patients focusing on a holistic and comprehensive management of the individual.
